Introduction: Idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (IHH) is a rare disorder characterised by delayed or absent sexual maturation and infertility associated with inappropriately low gonadotropin and sex steroid levels. Insulin resistance (IR) is defined as an impaired biologic response to both endogenous and exogenous insulin.
